School Council is elected in early September for the school year. We hope to have a minimum of five parents on the School Council along with two teaching staff and one representative of the paraprofessional staff. The principal will sit on the School Council as an ex-official. The Council will appoint a community representative who can represent the community or business point of view on issues being discussed. The School Council deals with issues such as school-based policy, program and budget. Parents interested in sitting on the School Council should ensure they attend the organization meeting early in September.

Parent Advisory Association

R. A. Reynolds School has an organized P.A.A. The mandate of the P.A.A. is to improve the quality of life of students at R.A. Reynolds School. The P.A.A. fund raises in order to purchase items for students, such as playground equipment, stage sound equipment, computers, track and field snacks, field trips, hot lunch, etc. Members of the P.A.A. often volunteer during special activity days. Parents wishing to serve on this committee are encouraged to attend the meetings as advertised in the monthly newsletter. Contact the Vice Principal for further information.
